How to Watch
Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta Sundays 8/7c on Bravo and streaming next day on Peacock.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Angela Oakley is experiencing about as much trouble with the Georgia housing market as she's been having with some of her castmates.
As seen in Season 16, Episode 10, the RHOA newcomer explained that she owns five investment properties, highlighting three listings ranging from $800K to $2.9 million. "Most of them are ready for the market," she said. "It's just that the prices that we are positioning them at haven’t been the most welcoming to the market because I haven’t sold any of them yet."
The hold-up had already caused her finances to take a major hit.
"I'm in debt $2 million," she admitted in a confessional. "I am in some deep s--t with these houses."
Angela Oakley tried to sell Kelli Ferrell a home
Angela invited fellow newbie Kelli Ferrell to tour one of the properties, and, well, the showing didn't go so great either.
Though Kelli politely dubbed the home "cute" (and did like the kitchen), she immediately took issue with the low ceilings and unfinished swimming pool, though Angela said she had "a really good rendering of what it could look like."
"I am desperate to unload these houses," Angela, who is married to NBA legend Charles Oakley, added in a confessional. "So, Kelli, I understand you have three walls. Don't you want four walls? Make an offer on this house, and it is yours. Sold! For the low price of $3 million…"
When a producer asked Kelli if the house was "even worth" that asking price, though, she replied, "I don't know, girl. I don't know if [you're] gonna get three [million] for this."
What does Angela Oakley do for a living?
Angela works in real estate investing and tax preparation, according to her official BravoTV.com bio.
A native of Harvey, Illinois, she attended Chicago's DePaul University, and after graduating with a degree in finance, the multi-hyphenate began her career as a tax professional, entrepreneur, and real estate investor. Angela also hosts inspirational workshops and is active in the Charles Oakley Foundation, which she and her husband started to tackle food insecurity in inner-city neighborhoods.
Angela Oakley addresses rumors about Charles Oakley
Since she and Kelli were already together for the house tour during the May 11 episode, Angela took the opportunity to address their beef after Kelli referenced Charles having a "secret baby" at Cynthia Bailey's Juneteenth Bailey-que.
"It came across as though you knew something about my marriage," Angela said, prompting Kelli to apologize for making her "feel any type of way."
Angela explained that when Wendy Williams first ignited the rumor, the former talk show host incorrectly stated that Angela had privately confessed to Charles having an affair that resulted in the other woman having a baby. However, Angela clarified that she was referring to daughter Ahmauri's late father, not Charles.

"That's not the truth, but the lie lived on," Angela added. "Let's put the rumor to rest."
However, she admitted there had been "instances of infidelity" in her eight-year marriage to the former pro basketball star. Noting that the cheating occurred around the time of Charles' 2017 arrest at Madison Square Garden, where he played for the New York Knicks from 1988 until 1998, she partly blamed his "public humiliation" and "ego bruise" for the indiscretion.
"I'm not making excuses for him, but I felt like he needed to feel validated," Angela theorized. "And we took a break. We had to take a break."
In a confessional, she added that she's been "very transparent about the growing pains" in their 10-year relationship. "Marriage is work, and you have to both decide to fight to make it work," the mom of four explained. "The storybook romance that we grew up believing just does not exist."
