Andy Cohen has never been one to hold back, so it’s not surprising that he took a moment out of Wednesday night’s (May 14) episode of Watch What Happens Live to put Sean “Diddy” Combs on blast.
The music mogul was arrested in September on charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering, which he has pleaded not guilty to. His trial began this week, with his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura testifying about the physical abuse she allegedly experienced in their decade-long relationship and his drug-fueled sex parties known as “freak offs.”
Cohen took a swipe at Combs at the end of his talk show when delivering his “jackhole” of the day.
“Tonight’s jackhole goes to the news that Max is changing its name back to HBO Max two years after they dropped the HBO in the first place,” Cohen began.
“Y’all, I’ve explained this to my parents so many times. Now I gotta do it again? Generally, when someone changes their name that many times, it’s not a good sign,” he said as a photo of Combs appeared on the screen. “Case in point.”
His guests, Summer House stars West Wilson and Jesse Solomon, had a stunned reaction to the shade.
“Too soon?” Cohen asked. “Oh, too soon. OK. Sorry.”
This isn’t the first time Combs has been dragged on WWHL. During a September 2024 episode, which aired shortly after his arrest, NSYNC member Lance Bass revealed why he “never liked” the rapper.

“I never had time to go to a Diddy party,” Bass told Cohen at the time. “I forgot he had opened up our last tour until all this kind of came about. But yeah, it’s kinda horrible.”
On the final night of their tour, Bass overheard a conversation between Combs and Justin Timberlake.
“I overheard him talking to Justin being like, ‘You need to drop these effers. You need to go solo. You need to drop these,’” Bass recalled. “I was like, ‘I don’t like you anymore, Diddy.’ I’m like, ‘At my own show? What the hell!’ So I never liked him.”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
