Sometimes Andy Cohen can’t help but say the first thing that comes to his mind.
On Tuesday night’s (April 22) episode of Watch What Happens Live, the Bravo icon awkwardly shut down two virtual fans who said their dog would love to see a live taping of the talk show from the Bravo Clubhouse.
“Aw, your dog is so cute,” Cohen said when Alexandra, Lauren, and their adorable dog appeared on the screen.
“Oh, thank you. He would love to come see you live one day,” one of the women replied, while Cohen added, “Alright. It’s not gonna happen.”
The two women seemed shocked by Cohen’s blunt response, sending him into damage control mode.
“Well, I mean, I’m just being real. But you two can come anytime,” he said. “We don’t allow dogs — except my former dog. Anyway, whatever. What’s your question? I’m sorry. But I love your dog, I do. I’m a dog person.”
After they asked The Valley star Nia Sanchez Booko a question, Cohen thanked them for dialing in before jokingly adding, “You know, sometimes I’m too real.”
This isn’t the first time Cohen been “too real” with his fans. During an August 2024 episode of his Sirius XM radio show Andy Cohen Live, has was scolded by a caller after he rudely brushed off a different fan who asked the same question twice.

“Oh my God. Andy, I love you but you’re being such a snarky asshole this morning to people who love you,” Nikki from Los Angeles said through laughter, telling Cohen she even heard his co-host John Hill laugh at the call. “Because it’s like John appreciates everybody and you are nicer to assholes that give you shit or pay attention to them on Twitter than people who love you.”
She added, “Just on the phone, people who love you — you’re being so bitchy this morning.”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
