Andy Cohen Shades Melissa Gorga: “You Waited 15 Years For The Sprinkle Cookies”

Melissa Gorga is clearly itching to return to the Real Housewives of New Jersey — and she’s not exactly hiding it. During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live on December 18, Gorga used her time in the Bravo Clubhouse not just to promote her new sprinkle cookie business, but to subtly shade Andy Cohen and make her case for a RHONJ comeback.

For those who might not remember, the whole “sprinkle cookies” saga dates back over a decade, when Teresa Giudice recalled how Melissa Gorga brought sprinkle cookies to her house on Christmas resulting in Teresa throwing them out.

During the conversation about her new business venture, Gorga took a subtle jab at Real Housewives of New Jersey executive producer Andy Cohen, playfully calling out his slow decision-making process regarding the future of Season 15. Cohen quipped, “You waited 15 years for the sprinkle cookies, Melissa!” to which Gorga responded with a cheeky, “Timing is everything.” But it wasn’t just about the cookies. Melissa Gorga confidently declared that now is the “best timing” for her new venture, which she believes fans are ready for. “It all happens for a reason,” she said, adding, “I think people just miss Jersey.”

But Gorga’s comments were more than just about cookies or timing — they were a not-so-subtle jab at her place in the future of RHONJ. Despite earlier claims that she’d leave the show if Teresa Giudice returned, Melissa’s actions and words are sending a very different message. The reality star seems to still be very much in the running to return to the franchise, even as Andy Cohen revealed that RHONJ likely won’t be back until 2026.

However, Gorga’s remarks were about more than just cookies or timing—they were a clear hint at her desire to secure a spot in the future of RHONJ. Despite previously stating she would leave the show if Teresa Giudice returned, Melissa’s recent actions and comments suggest otherwise. It seems she’s still very much hoping to be part of the franchise, even as Andy Cohen has confirmed that RHONJ probably won’t return until 2026.
