Bronwyn Newport shaded Heather Gay by sharing a strange video of Andy Cohen seemingly snubbing Heather at a recent event. Andy then shared why he didn’t hug the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, and Bronwyn responded.
On a recent episode, Heather enthusiastically greeted a group of four co-stars — all except Bronwyn, who she completely ignored. At the time, Heather was still angry because Bronwyn failed to invite her to the Palm Springs cast trip.
Earlier, however, Bronwyn tried to make peace with Heather so Bronwyn could feel comfortable inviting her to the trip. But Heather seemed determined not to acknowledge Bronwyn’s side, and she stormed out of the conversation. Heather later suggested that it was all Bronwyn’s fault, and Lisa Barlow seemed to believe her.
On her Instagram Stories, via @queensofbravo, Bronwyn shared a video of Andy seemingly snubbing Heather at a Watch What Happens Live event.
In the clip, Andy hugged a lineup of four Real Housewives, but he blatantly skipped Heather, who was second in line.
The video seemed to be an exact mirror image of Heather snubbing Bronwyn, who was also second in line among a group of four women.
Bronwyn wrote over the video: “Wait. Wait. WAIT. Did I just see a ‘hello, absolutely not, hello, hello’ moment?!?!?”
But Andy then addressed it in a comment.
“Ok before this spirals – I had already seen Heather backstage but hadn’t seen any of the peaches!” he wrote, referring to the three other women, who star in Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Bronwyn responded, “I just thought it was a cute re-enactment on last [week’s] episode! Andy would never shade Heather!”
On a November 6 episode of the RHOSLC: After Show, Bronwyn addressed how Lisa wanted to FaceTime Heather on the cast trip since she felt sorry that she wasn’t invited.
“Lisa’s not neutral. Lisa’s not explaining my point of view. She is firmly here to wave the Heather flag. Before she got on the plane this was happening,” said Bronwyn. “Her and Meredith sit on the plane, and they tell me over and over that I’m misunderstanding Heather and that they feel sorry she’s not here, and all these things … And I’m like, ‘Okay? There’s no other venue you guys could talk about this in other than to me?’ Like, I don’t want Heather here, and for good reason. I knew where Lisa’s alliance was and where her loyalty was, but I was very shocked and very angry that she FaceTimed Heather.”
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
