Andy Cohen recalled previously questioning Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann about their spending habits – years before their alleged financial woes came to light.
“There are so many clips of me saying to Kim, ‘I am worried about the way you spend your money. He is not a football player, he is a retired football player,’” Cohen said on Tuesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live.”
The “Watch What Happens Live” host emphasized that he told Zolciak she “can not” continue spending and not saving.

“Kroy was a retired football player. They didn’t have the football player money coming in anymore,” Cohen, 54, added.
Biermann, 37, played for the Atlanta Falcons for seven years, while Zolciak, 44, starred on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” for the first five seasons. They later landed their own spin-off series, “Don’t Be Tardy.”
Cohen made the remarks amid reports that Zolciak and Biermann’s financial troubles played a role in each of them filing for divorce earlier this month.
TMZ previously reported that the estranged couple owe more than $1 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS and $15,000 to the state of Georgia.

“The money has been a huge issue,” a source told People last week. “The million-dollar tax [payment] was just way too much pressure on them.”
A source added to Page Six that the financial issues “played a factor” in their breakup, but it wasn’t the sole reason. However, insiders close to the former couple claimed to TMZ that one of the reasons for the divorce was not infidelity on either side.
The soon-to-be exes are still living together in their Georgia mansion, despite the divorce getting nastier as time goes on.

They have since unfollowed each other on Instagram, Zolciak has taken off her wedding ring and Biermann seemingly shaded his estranged wife in his Instagram bio.
Biermann filed for divorce last week — two days before Zolciak also requested the dissolution.
Both of the former Bravolebrities have also requested sole legal and physical custody of their four younger kids: Kroy “KJ” Jr., 11, Kash, 10, and twins Kane and Kaia, 9.
