Andy Cohen Dishes On “Romantic” Scuba Diving Experience: “Did We Connect In The Way That I Thought We Did?”The way to Andy Cohen‘s heart is by … scuba diving?

On Monday night’s (March 10) episode of Watch What Happens Live, the beloved talk show host told Below Deck Down Under star Adair Werley and comedian Michelle Collins about a “romantic” experience he had while scuba diving.

“It is so romantic, scuba diving. I love it,” he said, shocking Collins, who asked if he was being serious.

“I’m serious,” Cohen responded. “I’ve been on boats and I’ve had the [instructors] take me down and you kind of feel like you’re on a fantasy date with the guy.”

“Oh, my God. It’s amazing. You’re like, ‘Thumbs up, thumbs down.’ They’re looking at you. They want to take your picture with a fish,” he continued. “And then you come up and I’m like, ‘Did we connect in the way that I thought we did?’ And then the guy’s like, ‘Yeah, no. It was very pretty coral.’”

It’s not that often that Cohen opens up about his love life on Watch What Happens Live. The last time fans got any insight into what goes on behind closed doors was on the Jan. 7 episode when Cohen’s ex-boyfriend and trusty Radio Andy co-host John Hill stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse to bartend.

While counting down the top five things he’d like to see Cohen do in 2025, Hill joked, “Release our sex tape from 2003.”

Cohen laughed as he told his guests, “I think there is one but the format — it’s on some janky format. No, I’m glad. We probably can’t even transfer it.”

The Bravo icon dated Hill for three years in the early aughts. His last-known relationship was with a man named Clifton Dassuncao, whom he reportedly dated from 2013 to 2018.

“I haven’t had a lot of long-term relationships,” Cohen said in a 2023 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, per StyleCaster. “And my last relationship, it was a few years, and it was, maybe ended five years ago. And I kept it under wraps and then a friend of mine posted a group photo of all of us on some boat together and tagged my ex.”

Cohen added, “The Daily Mail saw it and then did like, Instagram journalism and figured out that he and I had been in the same places a lot and they busted him wide open.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
