For the first time in Watch What Happens Live history, Andy Cohen spilled his entire drink on the air — and no, it wasn’t because he was intoxicated.
On Monday night’s (May 5) episode of Bravo’s late-night talk show, Cohen welcomed actors Connie Britton and Will Forte to the Clubhouse, where he nearly drenched the Friday Night Lights star in his Diet Cherry Coke.
The awkward incident came during a game called “Smitten Britton,” which asked Britton to look back on her early career highlights — like starring with Michael J. Fox in Spin City and working with Kyle Chandler on Friday Night Lights. After Cohen asked her to name her “proudest moment to date” of her son Yoby, 13, he dropped his entire drink on the floor next to her feet.
“Wow! First time in 15 years that I’ve ever spilled a drink. I’ve never spilled a drink!” Cohen exclaimed, eliciting a thunderous applause from both his guests and the live studio audience.
“That was a super full Diet Cherry Coke. I am so sorry. OK, tell me about your proud moment,” Cohen told Britton as he crouched down on the floor. “I’m gonna clean the ice up.”
The talk show host insisted that his cue cards were just “fine,” telling the actress that he was “glad” she was dry since the drink fell so close to her seat.
“Wow. That has never happened. You just never know what’s gonna happen!” he yelled toward the camera.

While Cohen tried to keep the show moving as he cleaned up his mess, Britton ignored the Bravo icon and offered to “get down there” with him. “We were talking about the improv of Friday Night Lights. That’s why this happened,” Britton joked.
After a few seconds of chaos, Cohen finally declared, “Everything’s good!” The show then moved on as if nothing had even happened. What a pro!
