Andy Cohen responded again to the report that The Real Housewives of New York City was canceled. The executive producer and host claimed they’re in the “casting process” and just interviewed 10 potential newbies, as Jessel TaankSai De Silva, and Ubah Hassan reacted.

Last week, a source alleged that RHONY was put ‘on pause’ — two words that often signal the end of the road. Bethenny Frankel soon reacted and hinted at why the show allegedly failed. But around that time, Andy and Bravo indicated that it wasn’t actually getting canceled.

On Andy Cohen Live, the host again addressed the report that RHONY was canceled.

“I guess I need to say again, even though Bravo said it — I don’t know how else to say it: We are between seasons on [RHONY],” he stated. “But what’s so interesting is, last week when I was here, the Bravo execs met with 10 potential new Real Housewives of New York.”

“This is called the casting process between seasons,” he explained. “And it’s heavily underway, and that’s why nothing has been announced. So, I don’t know what to say. It’s really odd. [The rumor] just keeps going on and on. So there you go.”

On her Instagram Stories, via @queensofbravo, Jessel posted a report saying, “On Radio Andy, Andy said #RHONY is heavily underway, they’re currently casting for the next season, and confirmed Bravo just last week met with 10 potential new women 🍎.”

Jessel added, “Thank you for all your ‘condolences’ but we’re doing just fine sweetie 😘.”

Sai reacted with a clip of Sheree Whitfield smiling in the background.

On Instagram, a fan wrote, “I loved the new RHONY..sue me.”

Ubah commented, “And when they do… I will be your lawyer girl 😘.”

On May 9, Bethenny addressed the cancellation report.

The Real Housewives of New York has been canceled,” Bethenny expressed on Instagram at the time. “It’s poetic. It is bittersweet … The powers that be pandered to society and tried to fit 25 pounds in a five-pound bag … They cast this glossy, curated version of what they thought people wanted New York City to be instead of just a group of friends that live in New York City.”
