Andy Cohen called out Teresa Giudice’s husband Luis Ruelas for the 'dark' comment he made about their Real Housewives of New Jersey costar Margaret Josephs’ son.
While appearing on Tuesday's episode of the Garbage World podcast, the Emmy Award-winning host, 56, admitted he would have gone 'absolutely mental' if he was put in Josephs' place.
During the explosive RHONJ finale, which aired on Sunday, Ruelas, 49, raised eyebrows for telling his wife, 52, that he hopes 'Margaret and her family suffer.'
The reality star went on to state that he wants Josephs’ 'f**king son' to suffer in 'the way' he 'suffered' and 'the way other people in' their 'family have suffered.'
Teresa seemed to agree that his sentiment was justified, as she claimed their 'kids' had 'suffered' as the result of Margaret's behavior.

Since becoming a father to son Benjamin, four, and daughter Lucy, two, Cohen said he views the drama between the Housewives and their spouses 'a little differently.'
'Let me tell you something,' the Watch What Happens Live host said. 'If someone that I didn’t care for invoked either of my children’s name … that is what it would take for me to be Danielle [Cabral].'
He proceeded to quip that while Cabral's boundary is not allowing people to talk about her husband’s pecs, his 'would be if you mention my children in an unfavorable way.'
Casey Wilson and Danielle Schneider, who co-host Garbage World podcast, pointed out that Giudice and her castmates 'have never gone after each other’s children.'
'Children have always been of importance to these women,' they noted.
After taking the shot at Josephs' adult son, he called the fashion designer, 57, a 'disgusting, vile human being.'
'She’s here to take advantage of everything that’s going on, and she’s a real piece of garbage,' he continued. 'If Margaret doesn’t apologize to you, she’s not even worth you even sitting in front of her, Teresa.'

On Tuesday, Giudice revealed he regretted the remark in a post uploaded to his Instagram Story.
'The finale was very tough for me to watch and I wanted to address it with you all. After watching the finale, I was disappointed in my actions in bringing up Margaret Josephs’ son,' he confessed. 'The reason he was even brought up was because I have been dealing with being falsely accused of calling Margaret’s son at his work which is simply not true.'
He continued: 'For the last year Margaret kept putting this narrative out there that I called her son at work and I have to deal with it knowing I am being lied on. Still, I know better not to bring someone’s child up and it is something I deeply regret so I do want to apologize and acknowledge that I was wrong.'
After the episode aired, Ruelas received a ton of backlash for going after a civilian, who has opted not to be a part of the series and is not filmed for it.

'Omg. For Luis to say I hope Marge's son suffers is a bridge too far,' wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter). Her son has never ben on the shoe has never spoken in the press about what allegedly happened or didn't that was cruel.'
'Luis is a REAL D*** to say that about Margaret's SON suffering! He's NOT a good PERSON!' added another outraged viewer.
Fans who didn't normally root for Teresa seemed to be as concerned about what Luis said as her usual defenders.
'I'm not even a fan of Teresa, but gaaah damn, she couldn't hav found someone better than Louise?? Idk, maybe like attracts like,' added one user.
Another viewer put it simply enough: 'Loui is the downfall of Teresa and #RHONJ. Absolute scum bucket.'

Even fans who didn't care for Margaret thought Luis' comments were out of line.
'Look Margaret is a dumb b*** most of the time doing shady s***. But Teresa... HONEY your man, wishing they suffer is wild,' warned one fan. 'Luis is buck f***ing wild! I would seriously try to get away from him Teresa!'
Elsewhere in the episode, Teresa continued her attacks against Margaret by belittling her husband as a 'f***ing plumber,' which rubbed more viewers the wrong way.
'Marge being married to a plumber is an insult how? Joe is one of the best husbands on the show,' wrote an outraged fan, via Page Six.
'Teresa commenting on Joe being a plumber etc is disgusting.. real men work hard for a living Teresa and trade workers are above you,' added another user.
Despite Luis and Teresa's plans to attack Margaret, she got a shock when Margaret revealed that Jackie Goldschneider had actually been the first person to speak to Luis' ex, whom he had been involved with in a lawsuit.
But Teresa was far more forgiving of Jackie, either because they had a better preexisting relationship or because she wasn't willing to dilute her fury toward Margaret.
RHONJ will be back for a final episode showing the series' stars watching and commenting on Sunday's finale, with the women being divided into two different rooms to keep warring factions apart.
Last week, Cohen said the series might need a 'reboot' to cleanse it of the toxic relationships and incessant fighting.
He has suggested similar moves in recent weeks as fans have been increasingly complaining on his radio show about RHONJ.
