The world of Bravo has been rocked by the devastating passing of Gregg Leakes, and many stars have taken to Twitter and Instagram to express their sadness and send their well-wishes to Gregg’s wife, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Nene Leakes.
After a family friend confirmed Gregg lost his battle with stage 3 colon cancer on Wednesday, September 1, a number of Bravolebrities, including Andy Cohen, Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Teresa Giudice, and former Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson, and other stars, including rapper Nicki Minaj and actress Viola Davis, spoke out.
“I am heartbroken over the passing of Gregg Leakes, a wonderful man. I jokingly called him ‘Pastor Leakes’ but in truth he was a strong voice of reason [and] commanded great respect among the entire [RHOA] team. I am sending love and strength to [Nene Leakes and] the entire Leakes family,” Andy wrote on Twitter.
“I am so saddened to hear of his passing. My heart and prayers go out to [Nene Leakes] and her family. Gregg was a good man, so kind & so loving. I will miss him, and will always honor his memory with love,” Cynthia Bailey added on Instagram, along with a heartwarming story about a time Gregg offered to pray a blessing over her relationship with husband Mike Hill.

In a statement of her own, Kandi Burruss described Gregg as an “amazing man” with a “great energy.”
“My prayers go out to [Nene Leakes and] her family,” she shared. “[Gregg Leakes] was an amazing man who always brought love & great energy to any room he walked into. I’m thankful for the great memories I have of him. Rest in peace Gregg.”
Former RHOA cast member Sheree Whitfield shared a post with her fans and followers on Twitter.
