Amanda Batula and her rescue dogs, Reese and Ryder, are all smiles most of the time, in part because they have an easy dental routine.

The trio has recently partnered with Wellness WHIMZEES dental treat products for a timely reason: February's Pet Dental Health Month.

"I've been giving Wellness WHIMZEES dental treat products to Ryder and Reese for years, so it felt like a really organic opportunity, especially during Pet Dental Health Month," Batula tells PEOPLE.

"It's a really nice addition to our routine. While I'm 'getting unready' before bed, I'm able to get the dogs ready too. I wipe down their paws and give them their daily Wellness Whimzees while I'm washing up. Having a routine is crucial, and these are such an easy addition," the Summer House star adds.

For the moments when Batula isn't feeling smiley, Reese and Ryder are there, too.

"They are my whole world. Anytime I'm feeling anxious or overwhelmed, they can definitely sense it and make sure to be extra cuddly and attentive. Reese will also aggressively lick my tears when I start crying at some feel-good moment in a TV show or movie that I'm watching. One little sniffle, and she's all over my face!" the dog mom explains.

The dog duo became part of Batula's life shortly after she married her husband, Kyle Cooke, in September 2021. The couple started fostering the canines in November of that same year and quickly fell in love.

"I almost knew immediately that these two girls were meant to be ours, and we ended up adopting them. It's been the best decision I've ever made," Batula says.

While Reese and Ryder are sweet, supportive pets, they have distinct personalities. According to Batula, Reese is the "cuddle bug" who loves to spend 80 percent of the day snuggling up on someone's lap.

"Ryder could not be more different. She's also such a sweetie but loves her alone time. She loves to cuddle on her terms, and when she's done, she gets up and lays somewhere else by herself," the reality star shares, adding, "They truly just make me so happy and bring me so much joy. There's no better feeling than waking up to two little creatures who have never been more excited to see you every single morning."

Batula strives to bring her pups the happiness and joy they bring her each day, and part of that devotion includes keeping on top of doggy dental health.

"Dental health is a game changer for your own wellbeing. You wouldn't go an entire day without brushing your own teeth! Therefore, it's important to maintain that routine for your pets too. Pet Dental Health Month is the perfect time to start thinking about a more regular routine that includes your furry friend," Batula says.
