Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke Reveal What Really Ruined Their Relationship with Hannah Berner: "Worst Nightmare" - suong

Kyle Cooke was the first to admit in Summer House Season 9, Episode 4 that he’d had a “rough week" — but was heaping blame on Hannah Berner.

The reason? “Hannah’s gone on a podcast talking s--t about me and my business and says publicly that I got her fired,” Kyle explained to Carl Radke.

As tensions later exploded at Lindsay Hubbard's sex reveal dinner, Amanda Batula insisted that everyone knew that her husband “did not get Hannah fired,” further breaking down the feud and her feelings about it in a confessional.

Explaining that she, Hannah, and Paige DeSorbo used to be “really good friends” in summers past, she lamented how Hannah and Kyle’s “big falling out” had, in turn, taken its toll on her as well. And yes, the resurfaced drama is keeping her up at night again: “This is my worst nightmare because it will affect my relationship with Paige,” Amanda said.

Why Kyle Cooke was mad at Paige DeSorbo over Hannah Berner's comments

Thanks to his so-called “rage texts,” things had already taken a downward turn between Kyle and Paige, who thus far, had tried to “play Switzerland” in the Hannah situation, according to the Loverboy founder. Her neutrality wasn’t sitting so well with him anymore, though.

“I was hurt that your business partner is still out there lying about why she’s no longer at the house,” Kyle told Paige of her “best friend” and Giggly Squad podcast counterpart.

Paige’s take? “It’s two different experiences,” she responded as the argument escalated. “You’ll never agree, and it doesn’t matter because you guys aren’t gonna be friends. So it doesn’t matter.”

Did Hannah Berner affect Kyle and Amanda's marriage?

Adding fuel to the fire was the fact that Kyle and Amanda’s relationship had incurred some collateral damage as well, according to Kyle.

“There’s been multiple times over the last three years where the lies that have been spread have almost ruined our marriage,” he claimed. “We’ve come this close.”

Amanda, for her part, elaborated on the “slander” to Ciara Miller: “Right now, everyone is being like, ‘Oh, Kyle got Hannah fired, like f–k Loverboy,” she said. “I get the messages. It’s having a really negative effect on us.”

Later, Amanda also admitted to Paige that she and Kyle had had “many fights . . . about this stuff” and claimed she “can’t even talk him off the ledge” when he’s in his feelings.

After a sleepless night, Kyle confessed to letting his reactions get him “into trouble,” but still insisted that, at the end of the day, Hannah was the guilty party.

“I’m not the one putting stuff out there in the first place,” he said. “The bottom line is I’ve been hurt multiple times, based on things that have been spread about me and us and my business.”

With a beachside one-on-one between him and Paige looming in the next episode, only time will tell if Kyle and Paige will make up.
