RHOC Star Alexis Bellino Reveals If She & John Janssen Will Buy a Home Together as She Dishes on Her Engagement and Wedding Plans, Plus Says She’s Praying for Shannon to Find “Mr Right”There has been quite a bit said about Alexis Bellino and her actions on season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Not only is she on the show with Shannon Beador, but she is also engaged to her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen. Naturally, this has caused controversy among other Bravo stars and fans alike. Now, Alexis is speaking out about her wedding plans, their living situation, and more.

As fans will recall, it was reported late last year that Alexis and John were dating. Still today, some people doubt that their relationship is real and believe it was her way of getting back on the show. Naturally, Alexis has denied this and says that she was in touch with the show’s producers before she and John got back together.

Recently, Alexis sat down for an interview with Bravo and discussed her plans with John. When asked if they had started wedding planning, Alexis said, “We have. We are looking for hopefully next summer and we’re just trying to secure a venue. We’re not doing a typical wedding; we’re changing it up.  We have a couple of creative ideas.”

She goes on, “I don’t know the dress style yet. I’m not wearing a wedding dress. I’m not walking down an aisle, but my son James did ask to give me to John, so we’re going to have to figure that out since I don’t want to walk down an aisle.”

Alexis continued, “We’re thinking 100 or under, but we’re already at like 80 people just with family and close friends, so I don’t know what it’s going to look like.”

The producer she was speaking with then asked if they plan to buy a home together. She responds by saying, “I mean, we pretty much live together right now, anyway. We bounce back between both homes. We decided we’re going to keep both homes. I have twins in high school still. We don’t want to uproot anybody from their normal, so we’re gonna keep both homes for a while. When the twins graduate, we’ll decide then.”

She explains, “Of course, we’re gonna buy a home together when we decide to not have both homes, but, until then, we’re just back and forth.”

She also talked about when he proposed to her. She says, “It was super exclusive, super romantic.”

Alexis then said, “We were talking about our whole relationship of the past nine months. We were both welling up with tears a little bit, and emotional, and just how happy we were. And he was just like, ‘I can’t wait anymore.’ And he was holding the ring, and he didn’t know when he was going to propose, during that time… He just said, ‘I just love you,’ and I don’t even remember anything he said now because you just forget… We were just he and I.”

She then says, “It’s laughable because I keep saying that I was not prepared at all — I didn’t have the hair, the makeup, the outfit isn’t what I would have chosen. We only had positive [feedback] from friends and family about it. Everyone knew it was coming.”

Alexis also interviewed with Page Six and talked about Shannon’s upcoming dating show and how she feels about her reality TV for searching for love.

According to Alexis, “Well, thank God, maybe she’ll stop obsessing about John and I. That would be amazing and we’re praying she’ll find her Mr. Right, it would be fabulous. We do hope she does, though. It would be great.”

They also discuss Luann de Lesseps‘ recent comments about Alexis and how she would never bring her boyfriend around her. She responds by saying, “Why wouldn’t she bring her boyfriend around me? I’m getting married.”
