As the fire worsened and thick smoke blanketed nearby neighborhoods, Alexis Bellino took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in a prayerful pose. In the caption, she wrote: “I don’t know what else to do but pray. Please, let the flames stop spreading!”
However, Alexis’s post quickly sparked controversy when Shannon Beador, known for her sharp tongue, left a biting comment: “Can your prayers put out the flames? Or is this just a great photo op?”
Shannon’s remark immediately set social media on fire. Fans were divided into two camps: one defending Alexis, saying she was expressing genuine concern, and the other siding with Shannon, accusing Alexis of using the disaster for self-promotion.

The tension escalated further when Alexis clapped back with another post, indirectly addressing Shannon: “Some people choose to criticize rather than help. I believe even small gestures, like a prayer, can bring hope.”
