Alexia Umansky is so in love with her fiancé and longtime friend, Jake Zingerman. After Kyle Richards' second oldest daughter got engaged this past November, they just celebrated their romance at an engagement party and shared some brand new details about their relationship.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter took to TikTok over the weekend, where she posted a video of her and Jake dancing together at their engagement party at Kyle's gorgeous Encino home. In the video, Alexia and Jake can be seen dancing underneath colorful lanterns and lights, surrounded by their closest friends and family members, as she explained the chance meeting that led them to getting engaged in the text over the video.
"The butterfly effect is crazy, because what do you mean my mom took me out of my elementary school in 2nd grade because my teachers put it on the chalk board that I got 0 votes when I ran for class president, so then she put me in the same elementary school that my dad went to, where in 3rd grade I met my best friends, including my now fiancé, and now 20 years later, we all danced together at our engagement party," she wrote.
"AND my best friend was the party planner," she added in the caption of the post. "My heart is full."

Although Alexia has known Jake since the third grade, they did not officially start dating until November 2019, which is one year after Alexia graduated from Emerson University.
In November 2024, the couple celebrated their fifth dating anniversary, which Alexia wrote about on Instagram. "20 years of friendship. 12 years of best friendship. 5 years in a relationship," she wrote in the caption of the post.

In a 2022 interview with Us Weekly, Alexia's dad, Mauricio Umansky, revealed that Alexia had been in her relationship for a while. "Alexia's got a boyfriend that has been around for a long, long time," he said. "He's awesome. We love him."
Kyle has been just as supportive of Alexia's relationship with Jake. "They're just the sweetest couple," Kyle told Parade in December. "They're definitely soulmates. They've been best friends since the second or third grade and they're just so sweet together. And I'm so grateful I'm going to have a son-in-law. I can't believe it."

Alexia and Jake got engaged in early November 2024, at their house in California. The couple was later joined by their friends, family members, and their adorable cat, Sashimi, the same night, to celebrate the engagement.
Kyle told Parade that Jake even enlisted her in helping him pick out the perfect ring for Alexia. "He asked my permission," she said. "And then he had me help him through the process of picking the ring. And he was so cute, including me. I went with him to many different places to look, and it was just so sweet that he included me in that process."

Alexia and Jake had a formal engagement party on the weekend of May 17. As previously stated, the party was held at Kyle's house and planned by Alexia's best friend, Shelby Moghavem, who inserted so many sweet details into the party. Guests sipped on drinks at the full bar, danced to songs played by a DJ, and feasted on catering by Serving LA, who are known for their smash burgers.
Alexia, who wore a long, white gown with a deep cut out, commanded the crowd with a speech given in the middle of the dance floor during the party. "There's words I'd like to save for another day, if you know what I mean," she told Jake, referring to her upcoming wedding vows. "But I do want to start by thanking, first and foremost, my mom and dad. I love you guys so much. We wouldn't be here without you guys today. This home is what it is because of you. I wanted to celebrate so badly here because of the home you made for us."
When is Alexia Umansky's wedding to Jake Zingerman?
Alexia will get a chance to say her vows before the end of the year, as she is getting married in September in Aspen, Colorado. Kyle opened up about her daughter's special date during a January Amazon Live.
"We have a date. It's September 6th," she said.
"I asked [Alexia] if I could say that," she added. "I said, 'Am I allowed if anyone asks me?' No one asked me but I just offered it. So...semantics here, guys."
Kyle has continued to share so much about Alexia's wedding, including how her real estate agent daughter has a very clear vision for what she wants for her wedding. "Alexia is very hands on," Kyle explained during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show Season 14.
"She knows exactly what she wants," she continued. "She is planning like crazy, and I'm just saying, 'OK. Yes. Love it. Perfect.' She's like, 'What do you think about this wedding planner?' I'm like, 'Love it. Great. Done.' She's like, 'What do you think about this date?' I'm like, 'Great, done.' So she has a very clear vision of what she wants, and basically we just have to pay for it."

When she isn't planning her wedding to the love of her life, Alexia is relaxing at her gorgeous house in West Hollywood. The house has so many unique features, including a spiral staircase leading to the upstairs area, a walk in kitchen, and the coziest living room. The home also boasts a cozy outdoor space, which Alexia and Jake have used many times for entertaining.
Alexia officially moved into the home, with Jake, in early 2024, leaving her family's house in Encino behind. In a March 2024 Instagram Story, Alexia revealed how hard it was for her to move, "Leaving home was really emotional for me...But night 1 in our new home, that emotion eased," she revealed.

Alexia is also a very proud cat mom to their two cats — Sashimi and Suki. After adopting Sashimi in the fall of 2024, according to Jake's Instagram post, the couple adopted their newest cat, Suki, in March 2025.
Alexia took to TikTok on March 29, where she documented the journey to adopting the new cat. "I had a lot to do today," she said while filming the video. "So, naturally, I was stressed. I started to scroll on Instagram, and, suddenly, I see a cat — a really cute cat. And that's where I am. I think I'm gonna get her."
