The RHOM cast member is looking to revamp her new outdoor space.
Alexia Nepola is ready for a “glow-up” — a home glow-up, that is.
About a year after moving into a rental apartment, The Real Housewives of Miami mom confirmed she and her youngest son, Frankie Rosello, had relocated to a new house. Alexia touched on the move in an October 3 Instagram video, saying she was preparing to turn the property into her “dream home.”
“I just moved into my new home and needed an urgent glow-up,” she captioned the Reel.
Alexia Nepola looks to update her new house
As part of her transformation, Alexia teamed up with Clima Home, a Miami-based furniture company specializing in outdoor living. The video followed the Miami ’Wife and Frankie through the Clima Home showroom, where they were introduced to in-house designer Ligia Cisneros.
“I moved into a new house, so we need something for [the] outdoors pretty quick because, right now, we have nothing,” Alexia told Ligia. “The house came with furniture and I can get rid of things that I don’t want. But to start, I think [we focus] on outdoors and my bedroom… Just walking in, I love everything that I see.”
Alexia goes shopping for outdoor furniture: "It's so beautiful"
The Miami ’Wife was presented with stunning furniture options, including a Royal Botania cream-colored sofa.
“Hopefully, I have the area for it, right? Because it’s all about space," she said while sitting on the sofa. “I love the look, I love the fabric. I would never think this would be outdoors.”
The designer then showed Alexia another outdoor sofa from Roda’s Spool collection. Ligia explained that the piece could be customized with different colored textiles and frames.
“Outdoor fabrics have really been elevated,” she told Alexia. “I know that you love fashion, so you can see the different textures in a lot of these.”
“I just can’t believe that this can get wet,” Alexia said while looking at a throw pillow. “I feel like it’s so beautiful. I don’t want to wet this.”
Alexia and Frankie disagree about *this* potential home addition
The rest of the video highlighted rechargeable lighting fixtures, area rugs, and a set of hanging lounge chairs that immediately caught Frankie's eye... but not in a good way.
"I don't like that one," he said about the design.
“You don’t like that one? Why? Are you scared of it?” Alexia asked. “I like it. Well, actually, I need a piece like this. Right now, they have two little hammocks like this; they have two of these that need to be replaced.”
After getting an idea of Alexia’s vision, Ligia laid out the next steps. She said she would stop by the Housewife’s new digs to take some measurements and pictures and “get a full grasp of the environment, in general.”
Alexia addresses her split from Todd Nepola
Alexia’s move came just months after her estranged husband, Todd Nepola, filed for divorce. The Miami mom addressed the shocking news in the April 28 episode of her Ay Por Favor podcast with RHOM friend Marysol Patton. Alexia suggested she was blindsided by the split, as she kept asking herself “What happened?”
“I’m a positive person, so I try to think about all the beautiful times we had together — all of our beautiful trips,” she said. “I don’t want to have any anger, but I understand that anger is one of the grieving stages. I find myself lost… It’s been very, very difficult. It’s been very painful, hurtful, and I’m just getting through it.”
