Season seven of The Real Housewives of Miami is currently in production, and fans are eager for the show’s return. Fans are particularly eager to learn about the status of Alexia Nepola‘s divorce from her estranged husband, Todd. However, now it seems this may not happen, as the couple has requested to postpone the legal separation, and a new report says they may even reconcile.
It was previously reported that there had been no movement on the divorce and that the judge was pressuring Todd to move forward. Todd filed for divorce from Alexia in April. Alexia said she was caught off guard by the filing.
According to US Weekly, Alexia and Todd requested to postpone their divorce for 90 days. This would mean things would pick up again in the new year. The estranged couple made this request earlier this month. Now, an insider is talking to the outlet and saying a divorce may not happen at all.
According to the insider, “Alexia and Todd’s divorce is up in the air. They are trying to see what’s best for them, even if that means reconciling.”
The insider added, “They are still in contact and are still trying to figure out what it all looks like for them. They are figuring out what is the best decision moving forward for all of them.”
The person then said, “The divorce is still filed, it’s just on hold at the moment. No one has filed any further paperwork or come to a final decision either way.”
The outlet also spoke to a second insider. This person described Alexia and Todd’s relationship as “on and off.” They added, “She’s conflicted and loves him. If she sticks it out and they stay together, she wants it to work long term.”
Regarding RHOM, the insider said, “Todd hasn’t filmed, but that could change. You never know.”
In the meantime, fans can watch older episodes of RHOM on Peacock.
