To the fans at Ford Field dressed as Aaron Glenn during the Lions' rout of the Jags last week in which their defense didn't allow a touchdown, Glenn sees you. And appreciates you.
But he has to admit, just like the memes that surfaced of his rain-covered glasses after the Lions' win at Lambeau, "listen guys, this is getting out of hand again," Glenn said Thursday with a laugh.
Glenn's daughter sent him the posts on social media: "I think it’s actually funny to be able to see that, so I got a kick out of that. It was good," he said.
The group of fans not only had headsets, foggy glasses, towels draped around their necks and play sheets covering their mouths like Glenn did at Lambeau, but as the coordinator noted himself, "The one thing I did see that my wife actually mentioned is, they have the yellow striping on the glasses, so they were very detailed."
"So, I’m sure they can come and help us, how detailed that was," he said.
