Lala Kent offered a public apology to David Arquette after he revealed she was “not the friendliest” to him during their time together on the set of 2020’s Spree.
Following David’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live, where he admitted to feeling that Lala, 33, was giving him an attitude, the Vanderpump Rules cast member took to her Instagram page, where she blamed her cold demeanor on nerves.
“I apologize if I was not friendly to you on the set of Spree,” she wrote on July 22. “I’d like to point out I was on set with many people, you being one of them, who are well known, established actors. I am a girl on reality TV. I felt intimidated and a bit like I did not belong, all while being incredibly grateful for the opportunity. I’m sorry if that came off as an attitude. It was not my intent.”
After her post was shared, David reacted to Lala’s apology in a series of posts shared to his own Instagram Story.
“Thank you Lala. I got caught up in the gossip nature of the club house. I’m also a ball of nerves in general and could have took the whole exchange out of context,” he admitted in one post, which included Lala’s statement.
With another post that featured an article about his claims against Lala, David told his fans and followers, “She apologized and I apologized back … I took her nervousness personally.”
Amid the drama with her one-time co-star, Lala, who announced she’s expecting baby number two in March, stepped out in Los Angeles to attend a fashion show thrown by her fellow Bravolebrity, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke, 52.
In photos of the pregnant reality star at the event, which showcased Sutton’s Green Label Capsule Collection and was held at The Godfrey Hotel, Lala, who is due in September, showed off her growing baby bump in a racy sheer jumpsuit and heels, which she covered in a long black blazer.
Vanderpump Rules season 12 is expected to go into production sometime later this year.
