On January 27, the Lions announced that left tackle Taylor Decker would be joining this year's Pro Bowl roster for the NFC.'

This will be Decker's first appearance in the Pro Bowl.

Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of fellow Lions Penei Sewell, who will miss the event because of an injury.

Decker's inclusion in the Pro Bowl is another feather in the cap of the Lions offensive line, which has been one of the best in the league the past couple of years and is arguably the team's biggest strengths.

The unit now has three members who earned Pro Bowl nods this season and has a fourth member with a previous Pro Bowl appearance.

Sewell isn't the only member of the Lions who will be missing the Pro Bowl after earning a spot.

It was also announced that Malik Nabers would be replacing Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in the event.

Even with the injuries for two of the team's biggest stars, there are going to be plenty of Lions to watch in this year's Pro Bowl.
